Quit the game, now sailing the seven seas and working in the galley of Boaty McBoatface.

He’s gone to Liverpool.

They offered £10 a week more.

Doing a stand-up comedy residence in Billericay with Benny The Ball from Top Cat and Boutros Boutros-Ghali. Not really.

Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
Indeed.

He's dead now. How could you bring his name up you sick bastard?!

Oh, hang on.

Being serious, Baker-Boaitey was being linked with BARCELONA, Manchester United and Bayern last month (in The Sun, oh yes!) so it will be interesting to see if any of those come remotely true or whether he's just another 16 year old with a fanciful agent.

Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
Gone quiet since end of May when he was linked with Munich, Liverpool and Barca

blueeyed.handsomeman 10:35 Fri Jul 10
Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
not a mention about him at all.

Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
Why? Was he linked?

Lee Trundle 10:47 Fri Jul 10
Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
Never heard of him.

YOUTUBED him and the video his agent (FFDTVOnline) have put out are pretty funny. They've blatantly told people not to tackle him in a 5 a side game.

Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
Barty, he's a 16 year old ex-WHU yoot who declined to sign a pro contract with us.

He's "the next Cristiano Ronaldo". Or Christian Dailly. Or something.

Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
we have lost more talented young stars this season than for quite a few years

geoffpikey 9:28 Sun Jul 12
Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
Maybe so, Hugh. But 7 have signed pro contracts. 8 signed scholarships. According to OS. Is that in itself unusually low?

We may have "lost" a few of the better prospects. But we're a struggling club, after all. It's probably inevitable when the first team is so shit. U23s doing well enough.

Even Chelsea, well known boy collectors, got rid of De Bruyne at the age of 20/ 21. Is not panicking about 15 year olds rather a fringe concern? Most don't make the grade.

Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
but that is not a qualification is it pikey

if they like all the hype that they feed us about the starlets, why dont they tell us when they leave

geoffpikey 11:22 Sun Jul 12
Re: Benicio Baker Boaitey
NO CLUB would run a headline story about a 15 year old not staying!

They DO publicise who is staying and may, may, one day play for the U23s. And maybe the first team after that.

Did Chelsea put out a press release when they let Declan Rice leave??
